Summit Fund · 501(c)(3) public charity — in formation

Access is the point

Useful AI should not depend on the country you live in, or on a monthly fee to someone else’s computer.

We charge our cost plus 20%. The 20% pays the people who walk with you. We do not take more. Gifts, sponsored seats, and any amount you add above the price go to the Summit Fund.

  1. Cost plus 20%

A Camp costs us about $415 to deliver — time, support, and the work of getting a model running on your machine. You pay $498. That extra 20% keeps the lights on. It is not a donation.

  2. The Fund gets the rest

Summit Fund is being formed as a U.S. 501(c)(3). Until it has an EIN and can issue a receipt, a gift is a contribution we will hold for that purpose — not a tax deduction.

  3. A purchase is not a gift

Paying for your own Camp is a service. It is not tax-deductible. A gift or a sponsored seat is only deductible after Summit Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) and has sent you a receipt.

  4. Teachers and students

A .edu address pays cost only — $415. We waive our 20%. Same install. Same rules.
